Imabe of America has announced the sale of an H240/3000 horizontal baler to The PRI Group in Bensenville, Illinois. The announcement was made by Jesse Nasianceno, sales manager for Imabe of America, which is based in Miami.
The PRI Group will use the baler to process up to 40 tons of old corrugated containers (OCC) per hour. The PRI Group helps companies manage their recycling programs and sustainability movements, according to Nasianceno.
“PRI’s Chicagoland recycling facility processes virtually all recyclable commodities offering businesses more effective and affordable waste management and waste removal services,” says Nasianceno. “Its brokerage operation assists businesses throughout the U.S. and provides tailored solutions to meet their growing demands.”
Imabe of America also has installations planned or taking place at:
- Midland Recycling in Lincoln , Nebraska, where a horizontal H60/2000 model is being installed; and
- Cencal Recycling in Stockton, California, where an H150/2000 Imabe horizontal baler is being installed.
Regarding the horizontal baler product line of Spain-based Imabe, Nasianceno cites several advantages, including:
- simplicity;
- robustness, exemplified by a weight that is 30 percent or greater than many competing models;
- a quick cycle time;
- the production of heavy bale weights;
- low operating costs and low energy consumption;
- the ability to operate independently with one of the three pumps; and
- lasting, high-quality performance.
