Taxi stands are located at the Lower-Level curb in front of the terminals, with taxis available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Midway International Airport offers a variety of options for vehicle rentals. Midway’s Rental Car Facility hosts all its rental companies in one convenient location, 5150 W. 55th Street, Chicago, IL 60638. Rental car pickup is located at Lower-Level Door #2. TO/FROM CHICAGO O’HARE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (ORD)
The Hyatt Regency Chicago is approximately 18 miles from O’Hare International Airport.
Lyft and Uber are available at O’Hare International Airport. In order to request a car, individuals will need to download the mobile app first. Pickup for rideshares at O’Hare International Airport can be found in the following locations:
- Terminal 2 – waiting area Upper Level between Door 2A and Door 2D
- BLACK Zone A - Outside North of vestibule 2A
- BLUE Zone B – Outside vestibule 2A
- ORANGE Zone C – Outside vestibule 2B
- GREEN Zone D – Outside vestibule 2D
- Terminal 5 – waiting area Lower-Level Door 5B. Uber Black will pick up on the Lower Level

Travelers should board a free, 24-hour shuttle from the Upper Level. The digital display on the bus will read: "Rental Cars / Parking Lot F." Each terminal has designated areas for drop-off and pickup. The shuttles will transport passengers to O'Hare's Multi-Modal Facility (MMF), where they can pick up their rental vehicle at the car rental desk. The address of the MMF is 10255 W. CTA Blue Line
The CTA provides both train and bus service throughout Chicago and surrounding suburbs. The city's trains, known as the "L," offer a convenient and affordable way to reach O'Hare. The Blue Line is the most direct route to the airport via public transit.
The Blue Line operates 24 hours a day, with increased frequency during weekday morning and evening rush hours. It connects to most other CTA lines, and with regularly scheduled arrivals and departures, wait times are minimal.

From each domestic terminal, you can walk through the pedestrian tunnel to the station, following the Trains to City signs. From Terminal 5, take the free shuttle bus at Door 5E (marked Terminal 1) to the Trains to City signs. Metra
Metra provides commuter train service throughout the Chicagoland area. The North Central Service line connects downtown Chicago’s Union Station to the North Suburbs, terminating at Antioch. Travelers at O'Hare can use the O'Hare Transfer Station to board Metra's North Central Service trains to downtown or the suburbs.

From the terminals, take the Metra shuttle bus from the Upper Level of each domestic terminal or from Terminal 5 (Door 5E) to the Metra Station. Alternatively, take the shuttle bus at the rental car pickup location on the Lower Level of each terminal to the Multi-Modal Facility and walk to the Metra station from there.
