Dr. Ganesh Nagarajan, senior director of plastics at WM, leads initiatives to increase recycling, enhance the supply and recovery of plastics from waste streams and drive value creation through stakeholder engagement.

With more than 30 years of experience in the plastics industry, he has held various roles, including product development, sales and marketing and business management.

A longtime advocate for circularity and recycling, Ganesh has contributed to global development projects as a thematic expert with the Alliance to End Plastic Waste, served as an executive advisory board member at Cyclyx and served as a founding member of the PP Recycling Coalition at The Recycling Partnership.

Ganesh previously spent two decades at LyondellBasell in leadership roles across Asia and the Americas and began his career in flexible packaging at American National Can (now Amcor).
