Peter Tirschwell is vice president of The Journal of Commerce in the global intelligence and analytics division of S&P Global Market Intelligence. A career business journalist, Peter has served in a variety of capacities over the course of his 30-plus-year career with The Journal of Commerce. He is also the founder and chairman of The Journal of Commerce TPM conference in Long Beach, California.

He writes a regular column for the journal, frequently speaks at industry events and has contributed to other media outlets including CNBC, NPR, The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal. He recently completed a two-year residency in Singapore.
