Trond Prestroenning is a veteran logistics executive with more than 20 years of freight forwarding leadership experience across Europe and the Americas. Since 2019, he has served as regional CEO and president of Fr. Meyer’s Sohn (FMS) for North and South America. FMS is a global, full-service freight forwarder/non-vessel operating common carrier with wholly owned operations in more than 35 countries, seven of which are in the Americas under Trond’s leadership.

FMS handles 850,000 TEUs (twenty-foot equivalent units) of ocean freight annually, making it a global leader in commodity freight forwarding.

Before joining Fr. Meyer’s Sohn, Trond served as executive vice president of ocean freight for North and South America at DB Schenker. He previously held key leadership positions at Kuehne+Nagel, overseeing operations in both Europe and the United States.
