With degrees in chemical engineering and biochemistry, Stéphane began his career in chemical technical sales to the pulp and paper industry. For 10 years, he has acquired extensive experience in this domain. Starting as a technical sales representative for Nalco Chemical Co., Stéphane climbed the ladder to become eastern Canada sales manager for the same company.

With strong sales and technical abilities, he joined Cascades in 2005 with the mandate of building a corporate procurement structure and a centralized logistics operation. After accumulating various responsibilities as director of corporate procurement and vice president of procurement, Stéphane is vice president of supply chain for Cascades Recovery+.

Leading the purchasing, supply and trade of secondary fibers and pulp, Stéphane's team manages close to 3 million tons of various fiber grades for Cascades’ operations and domestic or export customers. His main challenges and involvement at Cascades are structuring and deploying corporate procurement processes, strategy and major transformation projects aiming at value generation with the priority of better serving Cascades mills, its customers and suppliers.
