Evan’s role is simple, optimize the value of GFL’s recycled commodities. This is achieved through understanding end markets, maximizing logistics, strong supplier/customer relationships and knowledge of market demands. Evan has been with GFL for seven years – all in recycling. Prior to selling recycling commodities, Evan was involved in a different commodity type – wine, beer, and spirits. Evan is a Certified Sommelier, professional chef and spent 15+ years in hospitality. Skill sets that where hardened in his previous roles have translated well into his current. In his off time, he enjoys the outdoors centered around his passion for food and drink. He’s an avid hunter/fisherman, has a regular cooking article in the National Deer Association’s magazine and enjoys preparing wild game for friends and family.

Evan is committed to having a long-lasting impact and driving positive change through strong leadership, systems, accountability, and creativity. He believes that if you can’t measure it; you can’t manage it. His objective is to leave what he found better than when he found it.
